The Nine of Wands is a card of perseverance in the face of obstacles and struggles. This man has clearly been through some battle and would perhaps rather not have to fight again, but he’s ready and willing to if the need arises.
IV - Emperor
Imagery: The Emperor sits on his solid throne. He’s holding a scepter and a globe, symbols of his authority. A row of solid mountains is behind his throne.
The Emperor rules his empire with strength and wisdom. He makes decisions for the greater good of all.
