Four of Pentacles | Ace of Swords
Four of Pentacles
Imagery: A man is seated holding a pentacle at his chest. Another pentacle is at his crown and two are beneath his feet. A city is in the background.
This card is often seen as being greedy or stingy. However, that’s not the whole story. Sometimes it’s important to hold on to what we have, to keep our assets close. The trick is to know which behavior is appropriate in a given situation.
Ace of Swords
Imagery: A hand in a cloud holds a sword upright. There are yods near the base and a crown with laurel at the top. Mountains can be seen below.
Aces contain the full potential of their suit. In this case, the Ace of Swords (intellect) offers the opportunity for new insights, and new ways of thinking about yourself, your life, and the possibilities before you.
In this combination, we see the man as a bit cautious. He wants to be “safe.” But the sword is saying … look at this exciting possibility!

This month take some intellectual chances, expand your interests, learn a new skill, read a different type of book. Believe in yourself and know that anything is possible.
